Plug Seedthink into ChatGPT, Claude & every MCP client.

Seedthink ships a Model Context Protocol server. Paste one URL into your assistant, sign in with your Seedthink account, and it can list your Seeds, read verified facts, teach new concepts and ask a Seed a grounded question — all acting as you, under your quotas.

How it works
Paste the URL, approve the sign-in, and your assistant can read, teach and question your Seeds.

OAuth 2.1 protected. You'll be prompted to sign in and approve the client on first connection. Nothing runs without your consent.

  1. 1Open ChatGPT → Settings → Connectors → Advanced and enable Developer mode (read the risk notice shown there).
  2. 2In any chat, open the composer's + menu and turn on Developer mode.
  3. 3Click Add sources → Connect more.
  4. 4Name the connector Seedthink and paste the URL above as the server URL.
  5. 5Approve the sign-in when Seedthink prompts you, then try: "List my Seedthink seeds."

WebMCP is a draft web standard from the W3C Web Machine Learning Community Group. Where the MCP server above connects remote assistants, WebMCP hands tools straight to an AI agent running in your browser — Chrome's built-in agent, an agentic extension, or an agent-driven browser. No URL to paste, no API key: the agent acts through the Seedthink tab you already have signed in.

    Use a Chrome-based browser, updated

    WebMCP is currently a Chrome origin trial (Chrome 149+, with a local testing flag from Chrome 146). Update via Chrome menu → Help → About Google Chrome, then relaunch.

    Turn on the WebMCP flag

    Paste this into your address bar, set the flag to Enabled, and relaunch Chrome when prompted. This is a one-time step.

    Sign in to Seedthink and keep the tab open

    Tools are provided by the page using your own session, so they only exist while you're signed in. Reload this page after enabling the flag — the support badge above should turn solid.

    Point your browser agent at the tab

    Open your agent — Chrome's built-in assistant, an agentic extension, or an agent-driven browser — while Seedthink is the active tab. It reads the tool list automatically; there is no URL, key or connector to configure.

    Ask it to make a decision with Seedthink

    Start with the main Seedthink chat — ask_seedthink routes your question across your Seeds and answers from verified facts, so the agent reasons with your knowledge rather than the open web. Then try a read of one Seed, then a write. Teaching returns a preview first and only stores the fact once the agent confirms, so nothing is written by accident.

    Ask Seedthink whether I should raise my pricing, then list my seeds and show what the most mature one knows.

Not working? Check the support badge above says supported, confirm you're signed in, and reload the tab after changing the flag — tools are provided on page load. Chrome only offers WebMCP tools from the tab the agent is looking at, so keep Seedthink open.

How it stays safe
  • · Tools only exist while you're signed in. Signed out, the page offers none.
  • · Reads run straight through; teaching a fact is previewed first and only written when the agent confirms.
  • · Every call goes through the same server checks as the UI — ownership, row-level security, quotas.
  • · No tokens, keys or personal data are ever handed to the agent.
